The Hamilton Ticats Had
One hell of 1st Round of The Draft.

They with 8 Pick Pick Sherbrooke WR Samuel Giguere.

They Ticats Had Both Kids Rated
1 & 2 Respectivly
so Getting Both players Rights Is Quite a Feet.

Hamilton Then Took in 3rd Round FB/HB Mike Giffen
Then in the 5th Round Took Laval wide receiver Laurent Lavigne-Masse

The Ticats also Posted a Trade the day before The Draft.
Markeith Knowlton and non-import kicker Ara Tchobanian from the B.C. Lions in exchange for the Ticats second round (9th overall) selection in the 2008 CFL Canadian Draft.

I give the Hamilton Class a Draft B+
This only cause We have wait for WR Samuel Giguere
Who Signed with NFL Indianapolis Colts as a Free Agent.
He won't make the colts But with Samuel Trying out down there
We won't see him till have way threw the CFL Season.

Other this would be an A+ Draft in my Book

Hamilton Trades 9th Pick

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats traded their 9th overall pick in Wednesday's CFL Draft to the B.C. Lions in exchange for defensive back Markeith Knowlton and kicker Ara Tchobanian.

Knowlton, a native of Elaine, Arkansas, signed with the Lions as a free agent prior to training camp in 2006.

Now entering his third year with the Lions, Knowlton has emerged as an every down player in the middle of the pass defence. He's been in on 67 tackles in two seasons and recorded his first two career sacks in 2007. Knowlton also had career highs in tackles, sacks, fumble returns and pass knockdowns.

Tchobanian, from Nepean, ON, is a former Ottawa Gee-Gees of the Canadian Interuniversity Sport. Last season, the fifth-year Engineering major set a team record with five field goals.

Samuel Giguere is attracting NFL interest. North of Boarder Could Sign FA Deal after NFL Draft.

I been Reading a Few NFL Draft Sites today.

I have heard Roomers That Gigure Has 3 to 5 NFL Teams going to offer a FA Deal
If He not Taken Late in the NFL Draft .
He is listed as late 6 or 7th Round pick or FA By A Few NFL Draft Sites.
Two Team Being named was Indy. & Buffalo as Possible Suiters
Frankly it better he is not a Late Round Pick.
After the 3rd round Your Better offer Being FA in The NFL draft IMO.

If it is True Gigurewill Slip in the Canada Draft.
Sam Giguère tested really well for The CFL Scouts and some NFL scouts were impressed by his workout,.

Here is One Blog post :
• Sherbrooke (Canada) senior wide receiver Samuel Giguere is attracting interest. He finished second in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) with 45 receptions for 871 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging more than 19 yards per catch. He has been timed in the 4.4 range in the 40-yard dash with a career best time of 4.35. Giguere ran 4.41 for me during the workout session of this past spring's East-West Bowl held in Quebec City.

He is a rare natural athlete with a 40-inch vertical, 4.14 short shuttle, 10-foot, 1-inch broad jump and has also completed 23 reps of 225 pounds during offseason training. Not subject to NCAA rules, he was able to sign with an agent while still having a year of college eligibility remaining. He signed with well-known CFL agent Darren Gill who has represented Jason Clermont and Chris Bauman, two of the top-rated receivers in recent CFL Draft memory.

List Of Best Small School College Wideouts:
WR's

1. Dexter Jackson , Appalachian State
2. Jerome Simpson , Coastal Carolina
3. Jaymar Johnson , Jackson State
4. Arman Shields , Richmond
5. Almonzo Banks , West Liberty
6. Samuel Giguere , Sherbrooke (CAN)
7. Shaheer McBride , Delaware State
8. Pierre Garcon , Mount Union
9. Edward Williams , Lane (TN)
10. Jayson Foster , Georgia Southern
11. Bruce Hocker , Duquesne

TICATS EXTEND KEITH, ADD TWO DEFENSIVE LINEMEN

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has extended the contract of import defensive end Charlton Keith through 2010 and added import defensive linemen Matt King and Sir Henry Anderson.

Keith started all eight games he appeared in last season after signing with the Ticats as a free agent on September 12. He recorded 24 defensive tackles, four quarterback sacks, two tackles for a loss and two fumble recoveries and was named the CFL's Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in Week 13.

"Charlton came in last season and made an immediate impact on our defence. His combination of size and quickness creates problems for the opposition," said general manager Bob O'Billovich. "We're very happy to keep Charlton in Black and Gold."

I guess I Must be on to something .

I posted a Taster about my Storey about No Minorities trying out for Ticats Dance Team on ticats.ca Forum. Will it has been Deleted .. Guess they did't like the Fact I Brought this up.

The Fact The Ticats are Looking for Girls with Dance Training Means less Minorities trying out.

This means another Boring Looking White wounder bread Dance Team.
A lot Working Minorities Families Can Afford the money for Dance Training .

I do have an Idea to Fix this .
The Ticats should Have a Dance Practice Team Like Football Teams has a Taxi Squad dose
These Spots would be For Minorities only
Allow to get some Training and be seen public .
This would help keep some of our Young People off the street
if they Goal to work for .

This also could Benefit the team in Minorities Committees
Cause They would come out to support there Daughters.
a Win win.

So Scott and Lesley Step up to plate and Make it Happen

Why Can't The Ticats Dance Team get Minorities to Try out ?

Every Year the Ticats Have Dance Team Tryouts
Every Year we have Same Wounder Bread Look .
Why won't Minorities Try out ..

Hamilton is Very Diverse City With Many Different Kinds of People.
But still Minorities Don't tryout .
I wounder if anything to do Fact the Tryouts take place in Burlington .
so it is harder to get too. Maybe the Demands are Too Much.

I don't know why we don't
But I'd love to see Less a Wounder Bread look to Our Dance in 08
But is not going to happen.
The Ticats Should Trying Encourage Minorities to tryout.

Ticats Run Over Lions 30-18 Part 1 of 2
