TSN Saying Deal is Done Bruce is a Ticat

The Arland Bruce saga appears to be over as the Toronto Argonauts have shipped the disgruntled receiver to their cross-province rivals the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

In return, Toronto will receive a third round draft pick and the rights to non-import defensive end Corey Mace, who is currently property of the Buffalo Bills of the NFL.

Bruce In Hamilton?

An unnamed source is Saying that Arland Bruce is at Ticat meetings this morning and may practice this afternoon. That would indicate the deal is done

Our the Ticats Closing Practices ?

The info Below is from Scraching Post Blog .

The Cats are closing practice

For the first 15 minutes when they do the walk throughs with offence and defence. Apparently it's Bellefeuille's request. My understanding is that practice is to be open so I'll be calling the league for clarification. I've done everything the Cats have asked in terms of curtailing my reporting from practice and this is the first time they've done something that impacts my ability to my job. I realize it's only 15 minutes but it's the first step in closing all of practice which is what most football operations people want. Sent from my BlackBerry® smartphone

I don't like this Either but They Team has all the Control.
We have wait in Concourse for 15 Min's before we allowed in one of Boxes Seat Areas
This week it Box B last week is was Box F.

This is better then Closing Practices But Drew is Right
How long before the Pad Locks Go on.
It not Fans who there evey Day that are a Problem.
I been going to Practices for 6 Season not once have
we leak any info on Game Day Practices.

It will sad day if This Team closes Practices to Fans and Media.
I'll be so Disappointed if that Happens.

Shame Shame Bombers

From Drew Edwards blog:

"Officials from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats caught a scout from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers spying during practice at Ivor Wynne Stadium this afternoon.

The scout, identified by Ticat sources as Ron Trentini, had his notes confiscated and was ejected from the stadium.

The Blue Bombers come to Hamilton this Saturday to face the Tiger-Cats.

Hamilton officials say they've pulled the scouts credentials for this weekend's game and have informed the league.

The team, however, declined to make any official statement."

This is Shame if the Bombers Knew this The League should Fine them.

CFL PA Looking for Players to them Pension Money

This Story is From The Hamilton Spec.

The former director of education for Hamilton and now the top man in Toronto's school system, Chris Spence is in the news all the time.

So he was more than a little surprised to discover he was on a published list of retired CFL players owed pension money who couldn't be found by the players' association.

"I'm thinking, I'm not hard to find at all," he chuckles.

Same with former NFL star Dexter Manley, who played five games with the Ottawa Rough Riders back in 1993 and 1994. Reached by phone in suburban Washington, he says he's hardly hiding.

"Just go on Google," he says. "I'm easy to find."

Fact is, the CFLPA finally did track down both a couple months ago. But roughly 900 other former players remain unaccounted for, with over $7 million of their retirement money sitting in limbo. The List can be Found Here
