CFL should not be playing on Sundays after Sept 1st

The CFL Going head on Sunday with NFL is a Mistake.
Once you Reach the Calender date of Sept 1st The CFL Should Stop Playing on Sunday.
The for next Two Weeks play on Sunday.

This Really Irks me as a Football fan in General.
With the Ticats out of Playoff hunt
Do I Stay home watch the NFL or Go IWS to Watch a 2 Win Football Team.
I had make the Choice this Week and I am Choosing to stay home.

Why Three Reasons I never like the Roughriders as a Draw.
2 our Record and 3 The Titans play Tampa at 1 PM.
Same Time as Cats Kickoff.
Now if we where play hunt the Choice would been the other way .

I watch Both games from Home I can do that if I am at Ivor Wynne.
The CFL must Stop Playing games on Sundays after Aug 31.
Also they BC Game in two weeks is at 6:30

Most people are Just coming home from Work.
What is CFL Doing . The Need to wake up when they Schedule Games

Can Offence line keep Casey on his Feet Tomorow?

Sunday at 1 Pm the Ticats Play Host To Roughriders
Fried Perry of Roughriders is 7th in QB Sacks with 8
The Roughriders have Sacked the QB 35 Times.

To Deal with Pass Rush Hamilton will Try and Get RB or TE on Defence Ends .
They will then try Run what is known as a Chip block.
This should help out Marko Cavka and Jonta Woodard at the Tackles.

I spoke Jojuan Armour I asked Him how They'll Handle QB Kerry Joesph
Where going to hit him run him down Side to side
where going him make Want stay in the pocket.
I also asked how Teams Respect the Ticats Defence.
They know in for A Battle When we are at home.

Saskatchewan's Leading WR DJ Flick Should Miss The game due to Family Issuies.
Flick a Former Hamilton ticat Was Traded in Off-season
When he did't take a 40% Pay Cut

IWS need Major Repair so let's fix it.

Ivor Wynne Stadium needs Major Repair Acroding to Scott Mitchell
Who told today's mayor's luncheon the 77-year old Ivor Wynne Stadium must undergo 40 to 50-million dollars in renovations in the next two or three years. If

If there isn't a commitment to those renovations, the Ticats would be forced to look at constructing a new stadium. I say Fix it.

Here are some way to come up with the Money for Repairs.

Name rights Should get around 20,000-30,000 Canadian.

Add a Personal Seat License to Each Seat 250.00 per season. X30,000 =$75,000

Where over a Millon Dollars just with that alone.

The seat Licences would go to Repair and Stadium upkeep.

Below is Info how these work:

A personal seat license gives the holder the right to buy season tickets for a certain seat in a stadium. This holder can sell the seat license to someone else if he no longer wishes to purchase season tickets. However, if the seat license holder chooses not to sell the seat licenses and does not renew the season tickets, the holder forfeits the license back to the team. Most seat licenses are valid for as long as the team plays in the current venue.

Seat licenses have been given various names- the most common term in North America is Personal Seat License and in Europe is Debenture. The primary reason sporting venues offer PSLs is that the proceeds are used to help pay the debt incurred during the construction of the stadium or arena. Also, many supporters feel that such licenses essentially give fans ownership of the seat. Opponents of PSLs see this as another way to extract money from the sports fans.

My Point is there are Way to raise the money to Repair the old Girl.

I Can see IWS Updated to look like it when it was Built in the 1930's

But with new Bathrooms and State of Art Items.

Flick Goes to press again to bash Ticats.

Once again DJ Flick Bashes the Ti cat Management in the Press.
DJ was once one of my Favorite Players
Last year was his 2nd Off year as a Ticat.
Marcel had every right to ask for pay cut

They way it was handle was wrong IMO.
DJ should Brought into the office with his Agent
Told Face to Face that his Production did match his Salary.

Here How I would dose it.
If I was the Ticats GM
________________________________________________________
I would call DJ's Agent at Home not DJ Personally.
Said We need see you and Client up here next week
Due to The CFL's new SMS
We need to talk about his Contact with the Ticats.

Once they Arrived in Hamilton
I would have Brought Them into my office and Closed the door.

Then it would go down Something like this :

DJ the past two Seasons your Production is down and with The new SMS coming in
We need to talk about you taking a Pay cut.
At 1st I was looking at 40%
But I know you have a Family on way

So I am now looking at 25% Pay cut
on a new 2 year deal + an Option for a 3rd.
I will also add Incentives for you get pay cut to drop down to 20%
If you have so many TD and So many Catches.
The Contact will also Slide on a Scale with your Production the following years of the Deal.

If Your Production Goes up your pay dose too.
But if it Drops so dose your Pay
This has to be done cause of the new SMS and your Production the past two seasons.

Do you or your agent have any questions?

I hoping we can work on a Deal that help us both.
If not I will have to deal or Release you DJ.
This Team will be under the SMS this season.

Thank you for Your Time.
Look over deal we meet again in 2 weeks..
____________________________________________________________________
Now if this would have been handled in this way
DJ may still be a Ti cat.
we have to remember where Marcel is from.
This system has work in Montreal since it became the Al's
After a Move from Baltimore

In Montreal you Produce or Take pay cut or leave.
This what Jim Pop dose in Montreal and it works.
But it May not work here in Hamilton The same way.

I've never liked players that air Dirty Landry in Public.
it Unprofessional and shows no class.

Both Sides where Wrong here lets just leave it at that.

Ticats Loose again and Get 1st Pick In Draft .

Yet another loss as Ticats Play Better .
But Mistakes Early by Defence and Mistake by Head coach Charlie Taffee Cost Hamilton a Win.
as the lose 27-19 in Montreal

Casey Printer Played Well but he Work alone could say Hamilton from Penalties and Mistakes.
Montreal Just play well Enough to win . We Didnt

The Biggest Mistake Was going for on 3 Down with just over 3 Min left .
The team was field goal range and should took the 3.
The Gamble and Rookie WR Chris Bauman Came up short on the Catch.

The official Kills Hamilton From any Playoff Chance
We now 1st pick in upcomming in 2008 Draft for 3rd year of out 4 years.

Jeese Gone for rest of the Year

Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that running back Jesse Lumsden will be placed on the nine game injured list and will miss the remainder of the 2007 CFL season.

“Jesse was having an all-star calibre season and everyone was given a glimpse of what he’s capable of,” said general manager Marcel Desjardins. “He has shown that he is going to be a major force in this league and will be a key part of our team’s future.”

In ten games this season, Lumsden recorded 98 carries for 743 rushing yards with three touchdowns and leads all CFL running backs averaging 7.6 yards per carry. Lumsden has also proved himself to be a sure-handed receiver hauling in 26 catches for 348 receiving yards and one touchdown and currently sits fifth in the CFL in yards from scrimmage with 1,091 total yards.

Expect Terry Caulley to get the start at Half Back the Rest of the Way

How the Ticats get Ready for away games

On Rainy Thursday Morning.

The Ticats hit the Field Getting Ready for a Trip to the Peg.

For the 1st Time The Team Pump in Crowd Noise From Ivor Wynne Speakers.

Rich William Called his Cadence

He the then Lift his foot one to get ready to step the ball

A 2nd time to snap it...

I spoke with Casey Printer and Ask Him about Dealing with Crowd noise

He said the other ways to get things done. On the Field of play.

If I want a Receiver to move I will move head or Arm letting them know to go in Motion

Head Coach Charlie Taffee told me Crowed noise really not been much Factor this Season

He said Last game in Winnipeg with Being Milt Stegal Day they Extra Loud

He thought pumping the Noise would help his offence this week.

I spoke to roger Dunbrack who Play DT for Hamilton

Noise is normally not Factor for The Front 8 because they can see the ball Being Snapped.

MLB Zeke Moreno told me for the MLB who Calls the Signals for Defense

He will do similar thing as QB Dose

Tap his shoulder or moves his arms Instead of Talking.

They are Ways to get out what need to stay with out talking
