TIGER-CATS WELCOME BRANDON GUILLORY TO TIGERTOWN

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed free agent import defensive end Brandon Guillory.

"Brandon is a quick, athletic defensive end who has the ability to come off the edge and put some pressure on opposing quarterbacks," said general manager Bob O'Billovich. "He was a very productive player in Edmonton and we're confident that his size, speed and experience will strengthen our defence."

Guillory, a 6-4, 253-pound native of New Orleans, Louisiana led the Edmonton Eskimos with six quarterback sacks in 2008, while adding 21 defensive tackles and two pass knockdowns in 11 games. Guillory also excelled in the postseason, recording eight defensive tackles and three quarterback sacks in Edmonton's two playoff games last year.
