ICATS SIGN QUARTERBACK, DEFENSIVE TACKLE
Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed import quarterback Adam Tafralis and import defensive tackle Curtis Coker.
Tafralis, a 6-1, 219-pound native of Daly City, California, played four seasons at San Jose State where he completed 603 of 1027 pass attempts for 7,548 yards and 52 touchdowns, while carrying the ball 197 times for 983 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. After turning pro, the 25-year-old signed with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent.
Coker, a 6-0, 302-pound native of Las Vegas, Nevada, spent four years at Oregon State. The 23-year-old started 25 of 39 games played with the Beavers, recording 52 total tackles, nine tackles for losses and 4.5 quarterback sacks.
