The Ticats may have heart this year.
But Heart don't win you games.
This team is undisciplined can't score Touchdowns.
As long Time Fan I'm Disappointed in This Team.
for The 3rd Game in Row
We where in the game and let other Team off the hook
Jason Maas I have Supported this season
If he can't get us in the Endzone Why is he Starting.
The Season is Slipping away
It Now Time for Timmy Chang..
Next Friday The Bombers come to our House.
I have to say To our Players Staff and Coaches.
If You Want to Keep you Job You better win..
Cause the Fan Base in Dieing off again
We need To String Together 3 or 4 Wins
To Keep our Fan Base Happy.
Coach need starting laying fines and Benching People for Mistakes in game.
Players need to acountable for their Errors.
The Season is slipping away and where 0-5

This Team has Somthing we been missing ...
Do all Remember the Movie the Replacements
It about Team of Misfits who Take over for a pro Football In Washington.
When the players go on Strike.
One of my Favourt parts of that movie I will now Quote "
A Reporter Taking to the coach
McGinty, what will
Washington need to get back into
this ballgame?
McGinty stops and looks at the Reporter for a beat.
McGINTY
Heart.
REPORTER
I'm... I'm sorry?
McGinty looks to the Reporter. Then to the camera.
McGINTY
We're gonna need heart.
That os Somthing last year Ticats Team was missing ...
2007 Team will be Remember as a Team that had Heart...
They Guys looks ready to win and I am Pround of them
They have Heart the want to win..
They will win and will win Soon
All we can do now as Fans is Sit and wait for game day
The Cheer and Cheer till can't no more..
The guys Need us to be Fans

Show your heart be There for Them..

Coaching Mistakes and Bad Ref Calls Cost us our 1st Win.
Ticats Fan here is our Goat of the Week:
Head Coach Charile Taaffe..
As a Fan
Yesterday's Game lost
Hurt the most of our 4 losses..
A Game we should have won was taken away by bad
calls from our Coaching staff and the refs
Let start with the Officials:
Spearing Call : what Spearing that was clean Hit..
Next Pass interference Call in End zone:
Both Players where doing it but we get called
BC was holding do they get call no but we do
So Rule that 3-0 Get better calls then a 0-3 are True
Mr Black need to Get his act in Gear ...
We got Jobbed. by the Zebras
Next Charlie Taaffe :
who I respect a great deal
Charlie made some Huge Errors Tonight.
They Way Nick is kicking
I would have Punted the 2nd Ball out of The Endzone.
Our Defence would have Headed
they where playing great ..
Going for 2 Late :
You play the Percentages
You take the 1 Point and have the Onside Kick.
Hope you get back the Ball and give Nick a shot
You hope to get two or three good plays.
Bring in the kicker for the Tie
Take your Chances in OT
We might have Won or At least Tied..
sure we have could lost too.
You play the Percentages
You go for 1
Okay on The Bright side:
We play as team for 1st Time tonight
Jessie was unstopable..
The Defence was Hitting again it looked Steeltown Tough.
Offence moved the ball well on the ground.
The linebackers are Great.
Things we need to Fix:
(1)again the Flag Monster this has to stop.
(2)Too many Field Goals in Scoring Possion
we need Majors not 3's
(3) our Pass Catchers have fight for the ball.
(4) Fighting was our own players has to stop.
We played better but it still a loss
a loss that was so close to being the biggest upset of CFL season
this is why this hurts so bad..

Looking over the last weeks game

The Training Staff works on fixing the bumps and Sprains
The Equipment Guys look over the Helmets and pads
Making sure Every players is safe out on the field.
The also Put out Pants Socks and Jersey for the game.
The players Arrive around 11 O'clock for meetings
They take field for Practice at 3:00
some stay late or come early to work out and Bond with there Team mates.
Now for the Event Staff.
They Arrive the day before the game Setting up the Hospitality Tents
They also make sure Menus are Ready for Hall of Fame Club

They Go though roughly the same amount of food.
The Hall of Fame Club Food is made in Brian Timins Kitchen next to IWS.

The 2007 Home opener was a Point in Mediocrity
Jason Maas Spent More Time Kissing the
Turf then Throwing to his Pass Catchers.
Why Cause our Hoggies can't Block.
The Biggest Problem Damion Cook #65
He should have been cut last year
His Feet our two slow for the Canadian Game.
It is Time to Start Former LSU Tiger and Now Ticat Rookie Peter Dyakowski #67
or Pascal Cheron if He is Healthy should Start
Cook needs to be cut ASAP...
Next on my Hit list is Marwan Hage #62
Our Center and Leader of Our Oline.
Maybe Marwan should play Guard Next week
His Mistakes where Costly.
Move Cedric Gagne-Marcoux #53 To Center.
With out Pass or Run blocking We can not Win.
Next on My Hitlist the Penalty's
We had over 100 yards of them in 1st half Alone.
Our Coaches need to Fine these players hard.
There no Excuse for Pro Football players to
have so many Flags in the 1st Half.
These would have would cost as the game Alone
But Our WR and Slotbacks Did not play well too
Including My Favourt Talman Gardner #83
Sorry my Friend but did not play well.
This game was winnable and we let him the hook.
To Summarise
The Good:
Special Teams: Great Work Guys just cut down on no yards.
The Defence:
Played well
They just they just ran our gas From Being on Field too long.
Making Changes in the Defence Backfield at Safety Spot and we should be Golden.
The Atmosphere at game was Wounder full
The Bad: Everything Else
I Give This Game :2 Footballs out 10

Everyone has Wrong Idea when Comes Jason Maas
The Biggest Thoughts on Ticats.ca
This week Is Pull Jason Maas .
He Damaged Goods..
The Fans want to Throw a Raw Rookie into the fire.
Thank God Fans don't Run our Team .
Hamilton is Filled with some of most Uneducated Fans when Comes to CFL Football.
Who don't understand Football 101 at all
We have a great Coaching Staff
A great Young GM Making the Right Calls.
We have a woundfull Tranning Staff led by Chris Puskas Our Head Athletic Therapist
If Jason was not ready they Tell Coach Taaffe he could not go.
As for the Fans.
These are the same Fans who wanted Jason Maas
Cheered for His Arrival 2 Seasons ago
These Same Fans Push a Great QB Out Town on Rail.
His Name was Danny McManus
Just as they Done with many other Good QB
AC Tom Clements etc etc .
Wake up Hamilton you wanted him
Now you have him.
He is our Starter
You need to Support Jason and Charlie if your True Fans
The Coaches are Right not to start Timmy Chang
You may ask why I say that
Here is Why
If Chang Fails
This same Uneducated so Call Ticats Fans will want Charlie Taaffe head on a Platter.
Timmy Will be our Starter it maybe 4 to 6 games down the Road or 1 or 2 years away.
Right now Jason Maas is our Starter Like it or Lump it.
.
Check out Todays Copy of the Hamilton Spec
Ken Peters did a Story on this Topic.

Flash Back a Interview with Former Commish Tom Wright.
Back 3 years Ago Today
When I Started the black and Gold Report
I was lucky to land interviews with Danny Mac & DJ Flick
Danny was my 1st Interview and Frankly I was Nervous as Hell
But he was a Gentleman and Help get threw my 1st one.
But By Far the best Interview I had was with Former Commissioner Tom Wright .
We Spoke for nearly 15 Min's about the CFL .
He was Fair and Very Open.
I Decided That it was great time to Re release the Audio Recording for everyone to hear.
I only wish now the Tigercats would let me do more interviews as I enjoy doing them.
My Dream Interview would be Bob Young
So Click here ... this it is it a Flash back 3 Seasons ago
I want thank Tom Wright and the CFL for the Chance to Talk to Mr Wright.
Maybe I will Get a Chance to interview new Commissioner Mark Cohon in the near Future

Rookie Errors Costly in Cowtown
July 1st 2007
Happy Canada Day ,
Last Night in Cowtown all The Rookies in black and gold hurt us Badly.
The Worst Defender was CB Anderson who was Sloppy and Awful
I would not be Surprised if He is Released..
The Lack of Pass Rush was Evident
when we did get Pressure we did not contain Smiling Hank
Coach Ed O'Neal Defence did a Al Bundy On us..
Made us Depressed and Angry as Fans.
The Offence was no better as they did not score a TD
Kicker Nick Setta was lone Bright spot in an awfull Effort by the Tabbie cats.
Jason Maas had no answer for the Calgary Defence.
Coach Taaffe Calls did not work .
We did Bring in Timmy Chang but by that time
The game was out reach
Calgary was in Prevent Defence..
I was hoping we at least keep it close
Face it we got Killed Calgary was just a Better Team
Tuesday the team will the hit Field to get ready home Opener vs Toronto.
They Better win or Fans Will Riot..
On Fan Enjoyment Scale I give this game half a Football out of 10
